Market Development & Policy

Global Infrastructure and Energy

Cathie is a Strategic Negotiator for the Global Infrastructure and Energy team's Market Development & Policy group. She works with thought leaders, stakeholders, and partners across the Southeast United States to create an environment where Google's infrastructure can help responsibly and effectively power the world.


Before joining Google, Cathie served as the Vice President, Corporate & Government Affairs for Transurban North America and served as Chief Development and Public Affairs Officer for the Port of Virginia, where she led over $2B of infrastructure improvements, their sustainability programs, and the creation of jobs and investment across the Commonwealth of Virginia.


She has also served as Deputy Director for energy policy in the Virginia Department of Energy, where she helped to implement the Governor's energy policy initiatives in the Commonwealth.
